If a Man Dies, Will He Live Again?
By: Maxine M.

Job pondered this question at a time when he prayed for death’s release
Oh!! That my soul would just fly away and be at peace
That all this pain & suffering…soul searching would finally release

But then he wondered, “What then?” “What would be my fate?”
Will I live again, just in a different form? …perhaps he’d heard ancient philosophers debate
The wisdom gained from meditation was that man WOULD live forever in an altered state

Because man was created in the VERY image of God…the ultimate Supreme ETERNAL Being
For He gave man the “Breath of Live”…a continual perpetual existence decreeing
Thus, man has a SOUL, an immortal part of our being, that’s EVERLASTING we are conceding

So Job concluded he’d see God in a conscious state…even when his body underwent decay
Now, all of humanity was given this GIFT so ALL will have an awareness of their Creator one day
EVERY knee will bow; EVERY tongue will confess Jesus as Lord, God the Father would say

Perseverance & trust in his REDEEMER, the words Job’s mouth would convey
That he, like ALL men, was waiting for the grave…surprised at the delay
But similarities end when time of judgment comes EVERY soul’s way

Because BELIEVERS (dead or alive) taken HOME at the Rapture will appear before Christ’s Judgment (Bema) seat
Now separated from the “chaff”, they will be rewarded as the good clean wheat
Then dressed in white, becoming the Bride of Christ…rejoicing in the Bridegroom they’ll finally meet

In new incorruptible bodies, they will forever be at His side
Celebrating that, in spite of earthly trouble & strife, now, in happiness, they will abide
Elated that they stayed steadfast in their faith, knowing that under His wings WAS the place to hide

But, UN-believers will ALSO live again…sins now clearly exposed & any façade unveiled
For at their Great White Throne Judgment all defenses & excuses for their rebellion will have failed
All that is left is the SENTENCING…their eternal fate lamented & bewailed

Present at this judgment will be all the vile, wicked, evil, cruel people history has known
But also those “good people” who thought THEIR good deeds, for their sins, could atone
Never accepting that Jesus is the Way, the Truth & the Life…Jesus ALONE!

Those who ignored the warnings true followers of Christ had cried
Warnings that said YOU must REPENT of your sins…now, BEFORE you’ve died
Or those who thought it EASIER to trust “religion”…all those church TRADITIONS that were tried

So, YES, if a man dies, he WILL live again…it’s just a matter of where?!
Will it be in Heaven’s glorious Light, or complete utter darkness bear?
Songs of praise to the Saviour, or screams of tormented agony fill the air?

These too will have an indestructible body, feeling the Lake of Fire’s ceaseless flame
Full realization of THEIR GUILT will be known…no one else to blame
For all hope will be gone that this suffering will ever end in a given time frame

So, just as EVERY person HAS God’s gift of an eternal soul, the freedom of CHOICE He also gave
The right to CHOOSE YOUR destiny…a liberated free man in Heaven or Hell’s hopeless slave
The choice is made by rejecting or ignoring Jesus…instead of, in repentance, ASKING Him to save

Save you from the White Throne Judgment…forgive all your grievous sin
Fill you with His Holy Spirit…victory over trouble & temptation win
Confident in the knowledge that if a man dies, he WILL live again

WHAT DID JESUS SEE? by Maxine M. The world saw Peter as an unlearned fisherman, nothing special at all Simply mending his nets, hoping today would yield a big haul BUT what did Jesus see? He saw the one whom He'd call "The Rock" The one to found His Church, the leader of His flock The world saw Levi as a dreaded tax collector Lowest of the low, a traitor, considered a Roman defector BUT what did Jesus see? He saw him as Matthew with a loyal heart, faithful and true Knew he would be useful in the ministry he was to do The world saw the Pharisees as superior, righteous, ceremoniously clean Loving to stand in public, praying just to be seen BUT what did Jesus see? He saw them as hypocrites, fools, blind guides Saw them as well-polished tombs, but inside rottenness hides The world saw Saul as an enthusiastic, young Pharisee filled with zeal Persecuting new Christians, their newly found joy to steal BUT what did Jesus see? He saw him as Paul, a specially chosen vessel, a sinne...
GOT TROUBLES? by Maxine M. We read of tragedies in the paper, see them on tv every day We're shocked and saddened, but soon just go on our way We may send a comforting message, really not knowing what to say But then!! As is inevitable, a crisis strikes us or our loved one In panic we ask "why"? Who can help? What can be done? Now there's no putting it out of mind, there's no place to run When YOU get the call in the middle of the night When YOUR doctor says "I'm sorry, this report shows something is not right" When YOUR job is lost, it was Your house that burned...what a fright Then trouble becomes personal, there's no room for apathy Our desire is..Of this pain, sorrow, grief... to be set free! But, knowing WHERE to turn, that's the vital key Counselors, doctors, and medicine can only help to a certain degree Support from friends & family is wonderful we all agree But when all is "said and done"; Dear Lord, it's just You a...
Have You Two Met? By: Maxine M. The Bible records how, on the Damascus Road, the risen Jesus MET the Pharisee Saul Stopping him in his zealous pursuit…blinded by the light, he heard the Saviour call Why!! are you persecuting Me by locking My servants in a prison stall Saul fell to the ground in astonishment & fear, retaining no strength at all “Who are You, Lord? What do You want ME to do?” he asked in trembling voice weak and small Oh, how that encounter altered his life…even changing his name to Paul The Bible also tells of Peter, who MET Jesus one day at his brother, Andrew’s request His nets were FILLED when fishing on the “RIGHT” side, as Jesus would suggest “I’ll make you a “Fisher of Men”, Peter, if your life, in ME you invest Oh, he had rough edges to smooth, words & instructions from the Lord to digest A change from what “I will do” to what the Holy Spirit said was best So from s...
