ALL THINGS
By: Maxine M.

ALL THINGS…any matter, affair, concern, happening, incident you can name
A tangible or intangible object, item, detail, person or creature…wild or tame
Every total entity that exists anywhere in the diverse universal frame

God Made ALL THINGS
Col 1:16 declares that God the Father created ALL THINGS by His own will
That in ALL THINGS, HE may have PREEMINENCE…His desires fulfill
Even the very angels were created and are ALL in existence still

Life in every form came to be at His COMMAND…NOTHING excluded
The solar system, wind, rain, hail, the four seasons…in ALL THINGS, these are included
And since creation, He’s maintained ALL THINGS by the power of His WORD…this can NOT be disputed

Now, ALL THINGS encompasses YOU!! Your very being…just WHO you are
And YOU are just as great a MIRACLE as the brightest distant star
You were created for Him…do you know Him? Have you WALKED with Him this far?

God Knows ALL THINGS
Job said, “He knows the way that I take. He knows my appointed days.”
Jesus proclaimed, “I know My sheep…those who follow Me without delays”
The Father told the 7 Churches “I know your works…but also your adulterous and blasphemous ways”

He knows what we need before we ask, but He wants US TO ASK…be confident & bold
He knows the plans He has for us…just WHAT the future will hold
Only the Father knows that day & hour when the Rapture will unfold

So since He knows ALL THINGS, all your SECRETS to Him are exposed & brought to light
Our thoughts & motives, ideas & desires are not hidden from His sight
For He sees and knows what is done in the middle of the night

God Gives Us ALL THINGS
I Timothy 6:17 says “God gives us richly ALL THINGS to be enjoyed
For every good gift, every perfect gift comes from Him, for our good be deployed
By the gift of His Holy Spirit…His (inner) peace to His children can be employed

The very air we breathe comes from His hand, as He sees fit to decree
The love of family and friends is merely a reflection of His love…given entirely free
He gives us strength & ability to meet our daily challenge…hears any stressful plea

He gives us comfort, hope, assurance of a wonderful life with Him one day
For He gives EVERY single person an opportunity to be SAVED, as we trust and obey
He gives a “GIFT” called memory so on a sad down day, His past blessings we can replay

With God ALL THINGS Are Possible
Jeremiah stated “Oh God, there is nothing too hard for You”
And Jesus said “With the Father, ALL THINGS are possible, if you believe”…and we know it’s true
Remember those times, with His help; you did what was impossible to do

Paul spoke for us ALL saying “I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me”
Thus, it’s possible to raise that handicapped child or love those with whom we disagree
It’s now possible to OVERCOME fear of rejection…from ALL anxiety be set free

His strength CAN break those bonds of addictions…solve the problems they create
It IS possible to accomplish every HARD task, resist temptations no matter how attractive the bait
ALL THINGS means it’s possible to “root out” those feelings of bitterness, prejudice & hate

It’s also possible to find courage to meet new people…His name promote
To speak out publicly…His plan of Salvation clearly precisely denote
In spite of ridicule, our lives to HIM, it’s possible to devote

Give Thanks In ALL THINGS
Thanks!!...An expression of gratitude, for all our Father has done
Appreciation for His LOVE & GUIDANCE…all those victories won
Even for those trials, stresses, heartaches…for now a closer relationship has begun

Therefore, we see God is there in everything life daily brings
So let’s STOP in our very busy day and give thanks to Him for ALL THINGS
Gratefully, humbly kneeling before our Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

WHAT DID JESUS SEE? by Maxine M. The world saw Peter as an unlearned fisherman, nothing special at all Simply mending his nets, hoping today would yield a big haul BUT what did Jesus see? He saw the one whom He'd call "The Rock" The one to found His Church, the leader of His flock The world saw Levi as a dreaded tax collector Lowest of the low, a traitor, considered a Roman defector BUT what did Jesus see? He saw him as Matthew with a loyal heart, faithful and true Knew he would be useful in the ministry he was to do The world saw the Pharisees as superior, righteous, ceremoniously clean Loving to stand in public, praying just to be seen BUT what did Jesus see? He saw them as hypocrites, fools, blind guides Saw them as well-polished tombs, but inside rottenness hides The world saw Saul as an enthusiastic, young Pharisee filled with zeal Persecuting new Christians, their newly found joy to steal BUT what did Jesus see? He saw him as Paul, a specially chosen vessel, a sinne...
GOT TROUBLES? by Maxine M. We read of tragedies in the paper, see them on tv every day We're shocked and saddened, but soon just go on our way We may send a comforting message, really not knowing what to say But then!! As is inevitable, a crisis strikes us or our loved one In panic we ask "why"? Who can help? What can be done? Now there's no putting it out of mind, there's no place to run When YOU get the call in the middle of the night When YOUR doctor says "I'm sorry, this report shows something is not right" When YOUR job is lost, it was Your house that burned...what a fright Then trouble becomes personal, there's no room for apathy Our desire is..Of this pain, sorrow, grief... to be set free! But, knowing WHERE to turn, that's the vital key Counselors, doctors, and medicine can only help to a certain degree Support from friends & family is wonderful we all agree But when all is "said and done"; Dear Lord, it's just You a...
Childlike Faith By: Maxine M. A short time ago, a long-time politician was laid to rest The last of the patriotic brothers…in America, their lives they’d invest People lined the streets expressing grief, paying tribute & honor with considerable zest A crowd gathered on the Capital’s steps engrossed in this somber affair But did you notice the small children quietly playing without a care? Just having fun, making faces at each other while parents were unaware Wiggling & anxious to be on with life…shed those “good” clothes that must stay clean Unconcerned what “Teddy’s” passing would bring to the political scene Confident & trusting their parents would keep life safe & serene For children are children in spite of color, nationality or religious creed Where prejudice hasn’t been formed, childlike acceptance will intercede They’re refreshingly innocent…not yet carrying our burden of ‘will I succeed’ T...
